My name is Sara Kaiser. In 2014 I received my bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, the study of humans, from the University of Santa Cruz. That same year I received my Yoga Teacher Certification from the world-class studio NOURISH Santa Cruz. I noticed some fascinating intersections between my university education and my training in the practices and philosophies of yoga. I continued to explore these after graduating and wanted to create a central resource for the practices I'd encountered.
Thus, P A T T E R N S H I F T offers resources for personal and cultural change in support of body awareness, emotional intelligence, creative action, and connection, with meditation being the primary practice that pulls it all together.
P A T T E R N S H I F T is informed by the fields of anthropology, physiology, ecology, conservation, art, and philosophy, as well as by ancient spiritual and contemplative traditions. The meditation programs I have designed invite you to reach into your own personal insight, participate in the wisdom that has taken shape across many disciplines throughout history, and to be a mindful shaper of your life, your world, and human values.
I like things that build, I like to have a sense of direction, and I know I'm not alone in that. Stay inspired and hone in on your purpose with projects supported by meditation.
